Yes. You need an account to place an order with Simply List. You can review our services, compare plans, and begin choosing your listing options before signing in. Before the order can be completed, however, you will need to sign in or create a free account.
The account is not just a marketing registration. It creates the secure connection between you, your payment or zero-balance order, your property, and the work the Simply List office completes for that listing. It is also how you return later to review the listing, upload documents, send a change, read a message, or follow the file through closing.
Why an account is required
A real estate listing produces more than a receipt. It may include a listing agreement, property information, photographs, disclosures, proof approval, MLS changes, buyer leads, offers, and closing documents. Those records need to stay with the correct customer and the correct property.
Your Simply List account gives that work one secure home. It helps us:
- connect the order and receipt to the correct person;
- create the correct property file in My Listings;
- route agreements to the people who need to sign;
- keep private documents out of public pages and ordinary email threads;
- show you the next step and the status of office work;
- preserve messages, requests, and file history in one place; and
- give you access to the records that remain available after the listing closes.
This is especially important when a customer owns more than one property or returns later to relist a rental. One account can hold multiple listing files without mixing their documents, payments, or requests.
What happens if you start while signed out
You do not need to stop and create an account before looking at your options. Start with the current plans and pricing, then open the new listing order. The order flow will ask you to sign in or register before it allows the order to be completed.
If you already have a Simply List account, use that account instead of creating another one. A second account with a different email address can make an existing listing appear to be missing because the new login is not connected to the original property file.
If you cannot remember your password, use the password-reset option on the Simply List login page. If you are unsure which email address is connected to an older file, contact website support rather than registering again.
Creating an account does not place the order
Registration and checkout are two separate steps. Creating an account gives you access to the secure order process, but it does not submit a listing by itself. You still need to review the property type, service plan, optional products, shipping charges, taxes, deposits, and the amount due before completing the order.
You will also be asked to accept the current terms and confirm that you are the owner or have authority to act for the owner. When a corporation, estate, or another entity owns the property, the listing can still be connected to an individual account. The order and agreement collect the entity name and the name of the person who has signing authority.
Some sale plans may show no brokerage listing fee due at checkout because that fee is collected later under the agreement. An account is still required, and the order must still be submitted. A zero balance does not mean the listing has already been created.
What you will see after the order is completed
After a successful order, the new property should appear in My Listings. That page is the starting point for the customer journey. Open the property to see its current status and the next item that needs your attention.
Depending on the listing type and service selected, the workspace may guide you through the agreement, property details, photos, required documents, and a buyer-facing proof. Completing an order does not publish the property to the MLS immediately. The file must move through the required customer steps and office processing first.
When the proof is ready, review the price, remarks, photographs, and property facts carefully. Approving the proof places the listing in the office publishing queue. It does not bypass the office or automatically change FMLS, GAMLS, Zillow, Realtor.com, or another website.
Use the same account for future listings
You do not need a new login for each property. Keep one account and use Start a New Listing whenever you need another sale or rental file. This gives you one place to see open listings, closed files, receipts, documents, and prior rental information that may be eligible for prefill.
Before beginning another order, confirm that your profile has a current email address and phone number. The email attached to the account is used for security and notification messages. Property-specific communication should stay in the dashboard so it remains attached to the right file.
How your information is used
Simply List uses the account information to provide the requested brokerage service, process the order, manage the property file, communicate about the listing, and maintain required business records. Private transaction documents are not made public simply because they are stored in the workspace.
The public property page follows the listing settings and disclosure choices available for that file. Account details, private uploads, agreements, offers, and transaction records remain limited to authorized users and office staff. The Privacy Policy explains the current data and consent practices in more detail.
If the listing does not appear in My Listings
First, make sure you are signed in with the same email address used to complete the order. Then return to My Listings and refresh the page once. Do not place a second order just to make the property appear.
If the order was completed successfully and the property is still missing, submit a website support ticket or contact the office through the secure help tools. Include the property address and the email used at checkout. That gives the office enough information to find the order and reconnect the file without exposing private documents in an email.
Quick answers
Does the account cost anything?
No. The customer account itself is free. Charges come from the selected listing plan, optional services, shipping, tax, deposits, or later fees stated in the order and agreement.
Can I check out as a guest?
No. The order must be connected to a verified customer account before it can create a listing file.
Can I use one account for several properties?
Yes. Each property receives its own file inside the same My Listings account.
Does placing the order make the listing live?
No. The order creates the file. The required setup, proof approval, and office publishing process come next.
Should I create a new account if I cannot see an older listing?
No. Use the original login or ask website support to help locate the account connected to the property.
