Before a home listing reaches buyers, the seller should see how the public presentation comes together. The Simply List dashboard includes a private draft preview so Georgia sellers can review the details and photo sequence before approving the listing for office review and publication.
Open the Private Draft Preview
Select Preview Listing from the dashboard. Before publication, the banner identifies the page as a Private Draft Preview. Only you and Simply List can see it at this stage.
The preview is designed around buyer-facing information. Depending on what applies to the property, it can show:
- Listing price and address
- Subdivision
- Photo gallery
- Bedrooms and bathrooms
- Parking and square footage
- Lot size and year built
- Public remarks
- Property highlights
- Virtual tour
- Additional public property details
Private MLS remarks, showing contacts, access codes, lockbox information, and internal instructions are intentionally omitted. Their absence from the preview does not mean they were lost.
Review the listing like a buyer
Start with the main photo, then open the full gallery and move through every image. Confirm that the strongest photo leads the sequence and that the remaining images tell a clear story of the property.
Next, read the public remarks from beginning to end. Check that the description is accurate, easy to understand, and consistent with the photos. Then review the fact cards, highlights, and expandable Property Details sections.
Pay particular attention to numbers and claims:
- Price
- Bedroom and bathroom count
- Square footage
- Lot size
- Year built
- Parking
- HOA or community details
- Included features
If a value is missing or incorrect, choose Edit Details. If the gallery order needs work, choose Photo Order or Manage Photos.
Approve the draft for publishing
When the presentation is accurate, select Approve Draft or Approve for Publishing. The dashboard records the approval and changes the listing journey to Office Review.
Draft approval is an important handoff. It confirms that you have reviewed the public content and are ready for the Simply List office to complete its final review. Approval alone does not instantly publish the property.
What happens during office review?
Simply List reviews the approved file and completes the publishing workflow. The dashboard will show that the approved draft is waiting for office review until the process is complete.
After publication, the workspace changes from a private draft to a Live Listing. The Preview tab then reflects the active buyer-facing presentation. When available, the Documents tab also provides the original FMLS and GAMLS listing PDFs uploaded at publication.
Those PDFs are a record of the original MLS listing files. They are not automatically replaced in the dashboard each time a later MLS change is made.
Submit corrections after the listing is live
If you discover a needed change after publication, select Edit Property Information for listing details or Manage Photos for photo changes. Make the correction, review the updated information, and submit it to Simply List.
Submitting an update does not immediately change the public listing or MLS record. The dashboard displays a pending-change notice while the Simply List office reviews and completes the requested property or photo changes. The current public listing remains unchanged until that review is finished.
Use the Messages tab when you have a question about the correction or need to communicate additional context to the office.

Does approving the draft publish my listing immediately?
No. Approval sends the draft to Simply List for final office review and publishing.
Why can I not see private remarks or lockbox information in the preview?

Can I fix the photo order before approval?
Yes. Use Photo Order or Manage Photos, then return to Preview Listing and review the gallery again.
How do I correct the listing after publication?
